The following disclaimer applies to all artworks, services, and information provided under the licensed artistic activity of Vika Muro, operating under Dubai DED E-Trader License No. 1543009. By engaging with this website, requesting a quote, or purchasing any artwork, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

 

 

 

 

1. Licensed Activity Scope

 

 

All artistic services and activities offered on this website are conducted in accordance with the approved commercial activity:

 

Calligraphy & Painting Services — Activity Code 222206

under trade name: Vika Muro for Calligraphers & Painters

issued by the Department of Economy and Tourism (DED), Dubai, United Arab Emirates

 

This includes the creation and sale of original visual artworks, available either as pre-existing pieces or custom commissions, promoted and transacted exclusively through online platforms, in line with E-Trader license conditions.

 

 

 

 

2. Artworks Are Unique and Non-Replicable

 

 

All artworks presented for sale are handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces, created using various materials including acrylic, mixed media, and organic textures.

 

By purchasing a painting, you acknowledge that:

 

• The artwork is not mass-produced or digitally replicated

• Color, texture, and composition may vary slightly from photos due to lighting, angle, or screen calibration

• Minor imperfections are considered part of the creative process and not grounds for dispute

 

 

Each work is final, unique, and delivered as-is.

 

 

 

 

3. No Refunds or Returns

 

 

All payments are final. No refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations will be offered under any circumstances once payment has been made.

 

 

For ready-made artworks:

 

 

– You are purchasing the item as described and shown.

– Any subjective dissatisfaction after purchase is not a basis for refund.

 

 

For custom commissions:

 

 

– All preferences (colors, size, medium, style) must be discussed and confirmed before payment.

– Once payment is received, production begins and no modifications or cancellations will be accepted.

 

 

 

 

4. Ownership and Copyright

 

 

Upon payment, the client receives ownership of the physical artwork only. All intellectual property rights remain with the artist (Vika Muro), including but not limited to:

 

• Copyright and reproduction rights

• Digital and print usage rights

• The right to exhibit or publish images of the artwork

 

 

The buyer may not scan, reproduce, resell, modify, or commercialize the artwork (including via NFTs) without prior written consent.

 

 

 

 

5. Payment Terms

 

 

Payments are accepted only through authorized and traceable channels, in line with DED and UAE compliance requirements:

 

• Bank transfer to the business account held at Emirates Islamic Bank

• Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) using a valid Emirates ID

• (Coming soon) Integrated online card payment system via Emirates Islamic payment gateway

 

 

 No direct cash, crypto, or unverified third-party payments are accepted.

 

 

 

 

6. Fulfillment and Delivery

 

 

• Artworks are delivered by courier or arranged individually with the client

• Delivery timelines depend on whether the work is ready-made or custom

• International deliveries may require additional shipping arrangements and are the client’s responsibility

• The artist is not liable for customs delays, taxes, or damages caused by third-party logistics

 

 

 

 

 

7. Payment Restrictions and Compliance

 

 

In compliance with UAE law and international sanctions, payments are not accepted from individuals or entities located in restricted jurisdictions.

The artist reserves the right to reject any transaction or inquiry that violates local or international financial regulations.

 

 

 

 

8. Dispute Resolution

 

 

Any dispute, claim, or legal issue arising out of or in connection with the sale of artworks, services rendered, or use of this website shall be governed by the applicable laws and regulations of the United Arab Emirates.

 

All such matters shall fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the competent courts and authorities of the Emirate of Dubai, including but not limited to the Department of Economy and Tourism (DED) — the licensing authority for this activity.

 

By proceeding with a transaction, the client explicitly agrees to resolve any disagreement or legal issue in accordance with the procedures set forth by the regulatory bodies of Dubai.

 

 

 

 

9. Final Acceptance

 

 

By confirming an Estimate Invoice, making a payment, or accepting delivery of any artwork, the client:

 

• Acknowledges the nature of the artistic service

• Accepts the non-commercial, non-refundable structure of the transaction

• Waives any right to initiate chargebacks or demand legal remedies inconsistent with the terms set forth above.
